The full forced snorkel masks do not cause chocking nor do they have leakage. The dry top prevents water from getting in the snorkel. The traditional masks have a common issue of chocking. Chocking may be caused by the saltiness of the water when it gets into your mouth. Leakage of the water into the goggles may hinder the vision.
In the traditional masks, the goggles and the rest of the mask are separated parts. Misplacement one of the parts may occur and may take time to get the parts together. It is easy to handle the full face snorkel mask since it comes in one piece.
